The room was reasonably large and impeccably clean with climate control, multi-channel television and a microwave oven.
Plenty of goodies for breakfast. Comfortable location - very close to turnpike, Parkersburg, and all the attractions.

I liked everything about the red carpet inn except the noise and stomping and running by kids above us that went on all 5 nights we stayed this went on till 1:30 in morning Nonsence that the parents couldnot control their children. We stayed in room 12 and sure were not happy with the noise.

We were driving in through the state wide storm and power outage issues last Friday. The staff was very kind and generous when we arrived in the pitch black late that night and had candles burning so we could see. We were able to get in our room and use the bathroom--there were no places open from Cambridge, Ohio on down to go since power was out. There was running water-cold but working. The moonlight was beautiful out our doorway so we had natural light that night, thank God.
The inn is located right off the highway and sign was not visible due to power outage. It sits up on the hill so look up to find the driveway to the right or you will miss it easily.

Staff could not find our reservations. Stated they missed filed them. Guys hanging out, yelling and littering beer cans in parking lot drinking till 4am, with no staff on duty with a locked office. We left 5am for sake of security, Mold on bathroom tile and caluking. Door to room not secure.

Some electrical plugs were not operable and the bathtub was full od f=dark mold in the corners and in the grout. It didn;t appear as clean as it could have been.
